Proposition for AIHA Name Change

The Executive Council of the American Italian Historical Association proposes that the name of the American Italian Historical Association be changed to the Italian American Studies Association, as of January 1st, 2012. The purpose of the proposed name change is to bring the association further in line with other ethnic studies and American studies associations, and to reflect the AIHA's interdisciplinary nature.
